A reliable source confirms that Apple is developing the successor of iPhone SE. The name of the new device has not known yet. But, industry experts predict it to be iPhone SE 2. The source revealed the timeline of iPhone SE 2. The phone will enter production in early January 2020 and expected to launch by the end of March.
The highly anticipated phone will have a 4.7 inch IPS LCD, just like the older iPhone 7 and iPhone 8. Apple will use the LG display on this phone to cut the price. The phone will have a home button and will not feature the latest face ID. Some analyst predicts the design of the new phone will be similar to iPhone 8, while others claim iPhone 7.
Apple is not compromising in the internals specification of this new phone. iPhone SE 2 will feature the latest A13 bionic chip to power the smartphone. The phone is expected to have 3GB of RAM and a 64GB primary storage option. The phone will come with three different color variants.
As some of the older iPhones are not getting the iOS 13 update, the firm expects a massive number of upgrades. The demand for an iPhone with Steve Jobs form factor (with home button) and with a small screen display is enormous in the market. So, it seems like Apple’s move will be beneficial for the company.
