Tesla’s made-in-China price revealed

American automobile giant Tesla revealed the configuration of made-in-China Model 3 with an autopilot feature. The price of the car is close to $50,000.

There were lots of talks around Tesla’s production in Shanghai Gigafactory 3. In a recent development, the company said that the trial production of Model 3 has started from its Shanghai factory. The company is waiting for some government permission to start production.

The final production and delivery of vehicles are expected to start in the first quarter of 2020. The standard range plus with the autopilot feature will cost 355,800 in Chinese currency, which is equivalent to 50,000 USD.

Tesla revealed the details and price of made-in-China Tesla Model 3 via Weibo, a Chinese social media company. The price is similar to the United States manufactured variant. The vehicle costs around 3% less than that of its American counterparts, but customers can access different new features with the vehicle.

The number of vehicles that the company is planning to manufacture from the Gigafactory 3 remains unclear yet. But, the farm targets to manufacture 1,000 vehicles per week by January 2020 and set to increase it to 3,000 vehicles per week during the quarter one of 2020.

Tesla is planning to export the Chinese manufactured vehicle to all parts of the globe.
